- Shirley Smith
- I am a retired Primary school teacher living on top of the Yorkshire Wolds in the UK. I had to leave teaching because of health problems and have since started a second career as an artist. My main occupation is embroidery, designing and working to commission, persuing my own more contemporary mixed media work and working as a volunteer 'Broderer' at York Minster one day a week. I also dabble in other things such as doll making, stained glass, and botannical art.

Yep. like the others said.....pictures are a must!! Love to see what everyone makes and recieves. Pics of where you live. I also have a list of favorite links and favorite blogs that you can click on to go too.
